Somewhere in the cosmic middle-of-nowhere, specifically on the third rock from a rather average G-type star, a human arrived in the middle of March. After a few preliminary draft names, he was dubbed “Lance.”

Born at a remarkably young age, Lance spent his awkward formative years in Wheeling, West Virginia, a town nestled politely in what locals call the “Northern Panhandle,” despite the state’s geography resembling a hand extending a very specific finger at the rest of the country.

Having successfully survived adolescence, Lance set out to collect life experiences like trading cards:

• Academic Overachieving: He picked up three degrees along the way, ranging from Biomedical Equipment Technology and Allied Healthcare Administration to Multimedia Technology. Because why specialize when you can just learn everything?

• 30 Years of Military Service: He split nearly three decades between the US Navy and Air Force Reserves, surviving enough officer development programs and administrative courses to navigate any bureaucracy in the galaxy.

• Domestic Engineering: Somewhere between duty calls, he tricked a cute, curly-haired girl named Julie into sticking around. They eventually produced four offspring and settled in Indiana, Pennsylvania—a town that has been confusing GPS units and out-of-staters since before the state of Indiana even existed.

Now, on the precipice of early retirement, Lance faced a dangerous question: What next?

Naturally, the answer was to dive headfirst into a Certificate in Creative Writing and run a tabletop gaming company with his old college roommate. Today, he channels his decades of bizarre life experience, military discipline, and questionable geographical history into crafting world-building lore, tabletop games, and stories worth telling.
